However, it should be noted that the explanation for all continuity errors are being explained away that a lot of time happens between FC and X-Men 1 (and even between FC and the majority of Wolverine), so therefore things can happen offscreen that we don't know about yet.
However, I think it's probably just that Singer wasn't really involved in X-Men 3 or Wolverine, so he didn't care as much if he invalidated those movies.
